Everwood Theme Music

Everwood's theme and score music are all original instrumental compositions by Blake Neely. They are composed and performed exclusively for Everwood and are recorded by a live orchestra. The opening theme music was first heard in episode 101 - "The Great Doctor Brown." The original "Pilot" episode lacked the usual montage opening credits and Blake Neely's masterful composition. The theme music used during the first season was nominated for an emmy award for best original theme song, though plans were already in the works to adapt a new arrangement of the theme for the second season's opening credits. The instrumental score music heard during the episodes is no less phenominal, adding to the final touch that helps each episode leave a lasting impression.

Everwood's Original Soundtrack is available, which contains some of the show's best music including an extended version of the theme song. Don't have the soundtrack yet? Use the following link for more information: Everwood Original Soundtrack. While you're waiting for the album to arive at your doorstep, you can download either version of the televised opening themes here: Season 1 Theme :: Season 2 Theme

The sheet music for the theme song will also in all likelyhood be released at some point. Though we don't know when an official release will be made. We will keep you updated and you'll know the moment we hear anything.

Blake Neely himself is a veteran when it comes to score music. He's orchestrated scores for movies such as "Frequency," "Crazy Beautiful," "High Crimes" and others including many scheduled for release this year. His credits also include orchestrator work for the hit mini-series "Band of Brothers."
